I didn't give Bute a round. Though I thought the second could be a toss up, but I gave Froch three 10-9 rounds and a 10-8 round in the third.

I gave Bute the first round, and I believe he stole the second round at the end when he was landing those left hands that Froch was running into. Am I the ONLY one who thinks Bute looks like one of those avatars that you create when you play the Wii??? For me, that head of his just gives it away... |

Just watched the entire fight. I mean to me Bute wasn't THAT good, I felt like people were overrating him, but damn I didn't expect him to go out like that. I honestly feel sorry for him.
The reason why he lost this fight is because Bute is a typical southpaw, jab jab left. He can't fight on the inside, only knows how to box, has no heart, you take him out of his comfort zone and hes done. Froch is dirty, he's a bully, he sees you bitchin out, he's going to take full advantage, like a guy taking your lunch money. Bute would do better against Ward than he did Froch, however don't think he can beat Ward, never thought so. If there was a rematch, going the distance or not, Froch would win again. |

To me, Bute was TOO pronounced in his southpaw stance. I know you want to get the outside foot and all but damn. While he was exaggerating his position, Froch was coming straight forward like "fuck what your lead foot is. I'm just coming with pressure." Froch was kinda wild and kept squaring his body up. He was vulnerable to be hit but Bute was trying so hard to make it a finesse fight, he couldn't capitalize. Bute clearly can't handle being in a dog fight.
