The thread is def not in question to me. Its news, but the fact that you people are SO sure that Adrien is to blame is wrong. Because you dont know anything but what the media has introduced to us. But i understand the opinions...

I'm pretty sure it says ALLEGEDLY on the first post. And its kind of hard to deny your own bite mark, but your right the media does spin these things. Only broner and whoever he was with know what actually happen, all we can do (through no fault of our own) is try to figure out what happened with what were told.

Ive known Adrien for 20+. He's a good kid from a rough side in Cincinnati. Things happen and people make mistakes. The only reason we dont have threads about our negative experiences is because we are not on the national stage. I wish Adrien would stay in the house, train, fight and be humble but the fact of the matter is that this boy has been this cocky, this arrogant and this silly since he was fighting amatuer at a young age. So yes, Adrien has to grown up alil bit but dont we all?

The little Floyd remarks are funny, but im glad Adrien chose the best boxer out there to look up to. And the reality is he's not another floyd hes the first Adrien...Ask yourself, would you be this opinionated about Adrien if you had the opportunity to say this to his face??

Have a good day folks. Look forward to discussing boxing with you guys.

(Yes, im tired of seeing my boy clowned. So I spoke up.)

I'm not terribly interested in your history with Broner, or your need to hop on a message board in his defense. If I pay money to watch him fight, then I can say what I feel. He's making a profit off of my money, so I highly doubt that he cares what lil ol' me thinks anyway. Besides, isn't that the chief reason why he fights? For money? He needs all of the good and bad publicity that he can get, and as long he delivers in the ring, that's all that matters.

Would I be this opinionated if I had a chance to say this to his face? Chances are, he wouldn't care then, just as much as he doesn't care now. Again, spend your time doing something else other than speaking up for Broner. With that in mind, what do you actually do for a living?

Am I one of the only ones here who doesn't care? Not because I don't think it's "news worthy" but because I just genuinely don't.

I'm not posting the vid because worldstar is in no way affiliated with hip hop in my opinion and I hate everything the site stands for personally, but there's a video on there that I was sent a link to by a friend and Broner is making it rain as they say and he licks the stripper's...well you know. Yall can go look it up yourselves if you want to see him doing more fuckery

That goes beyond stupid! Even his entourage was trying to pull him off the chick and he kept doing the dumb shit, IDK about broner outside the ring, to say he's immature his a severe compliment to him. Good boxer with a bright future but shit like this doesn't paint a nice image of him. There's nothing you can say, at least to me to defend this fuck shit. Blacks and especially black athletes get that bullseye from the media, and here's this fool making himself a even bigger target

I ran track in college and I was cocky up until I got humbled. Unfortunately I wish I would've humbled myself but the game humbled me. Growing up in Chicago I know plenty of pro athletes and some are cocky but they humble themselves. Broner or your friend how ever you want to call it needs to humble himself before the game humbles him.

To an extent what athlete at that level isn't cocky?? You somewhat have to be at that level. But because he's always been that way aint excusable. Age is one thing but he has the maturity level of a 6yr old, and I don't see anyone around him helping him out...and that rough neighborhood stuff is wearing thin. D Rose, Durant, for example like many other black athletes grew up in rough neighborhoods and they have a better character then he's exhibiting

And in the real world perception is reality, no matter if it's true or not. The bravado, the flamboyance in and outside the ring and obviously his fighting style eerily resembles Floyd. Maybe down the road maybe he can differentiate himself from Floyd but he's not doing his self any favors now. And what do you mean would we say it to his face lmao?? People done got at way tougher and crazier n*ggas then Adrien Broner. This dude aint no Suge or Tupac, anybody can be critiqued just like anybody can be touched out here. You, me, and definitely not no celebrity/athlete exempt from that

I think Floyd said if you do not give yourself 100% to the sport she will come back and hurt you. I feel Adrien is not being disciplined, people shit on Floyd but he gives 110% to the sport of boxing. He worked out 5 hours and he doesn't drink that says a lot. Bernard Hopkins is the same way, they give themselves wholly to the sport. Adrien (and this is why I think he will get beat) relies heavily on his talent, but someone maybe less talented then he but have the work ethic of a freaking LION! and that will be the first of 2 or 3 losses. Adrien needs to realize that his window of opportunity is small. What separates LeBron from a Westbrook, is Lebron does not take days off and he wants to challenge himself to be the best. Same as a boxer. You have to the love the sport and literally live for it because the moment you start doing other things that can distract you, you are taking Ls. I think Pac found out the hard way what happens when you take breaks. He started camp late and was fucking around during training. Chavez Jr. is another one. Even Paulie found out what happens when you overlook an opponent. You look sloppy, hell even Swift had to make an excuse to pull out of training cause he was popping bottles instead of a pinching bag. You have to act like your first is your last. Adrien really needs to focus or all this shit can be gone.

Unfortunately...Broner's friend, hypeman, nuthugger, or whoever this dude is, doesn't believe stuff like this. In one sentence, he hopes that Adrien calms down, humbles himself, and just trains, but he closes the same post by defending the fuckwit and his raging idiotic ways...saying that we're too hard him, or something to that effect.

A lot of us have grown up in tough areas, but that doesn't give ANY of us a reason to use it as a crutch for our bad choices...but not Broner's friend's world. Oh no, we should just support Adrien and not say anything bad him. We aren't any better than the rest, if we choose to enable a talented fighter, who who happens to be a liability to himself, and a bad investment of interest on our behalf.

Somebody needs to talk bad about this dude, and somebody else needs to get in his ear and tell him to sit down. Then we as posters get put in a hypothetical situation by Broner's hypeman, questioning as to whether we'd say any of this to Broner's face...which gives us an idea that Broner wont "go out like a punk", and hell, we'll probably get bitten in the process of "saying it to his face", and there goes another $1500 bond Broner. Silly cycle

What logic, huh?

I unfortunately agree that he will take an L some time in his career. And it's not so much of the way he relies on his natural abilities but I'm starting to wonder....can Broner improve his defense. He gets hit way too much sure he's young but he's deep in the game in terms of fights. It'll be interesting to see.

It's ok to go out and market yourself and have fun while your doing it. If you want to be an asshole then be an asshole, but Broner is entering Dame Dash territory with his attitude. He needs to get it together and quick
