If there's any chance that anyone at HBO or Showtime might be reading this, please reevaluate your policy of NOT putting previous matches of Boxing After Dark fighters on your "On Demand" list in the weeks leading up to a BAD card. It makes no sense. I understand that there is some kind of status thing with WCB, but the truth is that it would be good for BAD ratings, it would be good for fans, it would be great for the fighters, and it wouldn't cost HBO a dime.
Gamboa and Lopez are two of the most exciting fighters around and they are both fighting this weekend. Why the hell won't you put their last fights On Demand to get fans pumped (and educated about the fighters in case they've never seen them) for this weekend? These guys, more than most, could really benefit from some hype - and they deserve the hype. |
