Is this a good move? I never known Chavez Sr. to be a trainer, but I'm sure his in ring experience can help. It could even be looked at as the better option than the others, given the trend of these sibling trainer, fighter combination these days.

Sadly enough, being a legend in the ring does not translate into being a legend outside of it. But I am curious how this will work. Unexpected move for sure...

I couldve swore I read something like Sr wasnt even allowed in camp. Now hes training him? Sr is too good for this bum. Jr needs to go back to eating cereal and walking around in his chonis.

Gotta love the drama that daddy issues provide in the boxing world. What would it be without it? Oh that's right...a smooth sport. Too bad there are other pressing issues in the sport, that will never go away. Overbearing bad dads who've made champions, will never end. This is the beginning of something that I cant quite put my finger on. Lol

You know what, this could be a good thing. I doubt Sr is gonna just let him miss sessions like Freddy did, maybe with his dad as trainer Sr will crack a wip on Jr and keep him more in line

Not a good thing, I think this reflects more on JCC Jr then anything, this fight is not that far away and he's going back and forth with his decisions. Seems to me that he can't make big boy decisions. Maybe there is something going on in camp but either way it's not a good move imo

Correct me if I'm wrong here. Weren't we just discussing Sr being removed completely from Jr's life and him possibly changing his name? Did they have some type of makeup sex or something lmao
