understood, but I'm basing my opinion off his 5' 6" frame and 68" reach

Molina 5' 10" and 72"
Devon 5' 8" and 70"
Porter 5' 7" and 69"
Thurman 5' 8" and 69"
Karass 5' 9" and 72"
Ghost 5' 8" and 70"
Maidana 5' 7" and 69"
Mayweather 5' 8" and 72"

my point is, he'll be the smaller guy in every encounter like Broner

Styles and fundamentals...

If a guy can't get away from a jab to save his life, then he's an easy target...even if the other guy has shorter arms..hence Lucas setting up his shots once Molina couldn't avoid the jab.

Matthysee remains beatable with an outside shooter opponent with a jab and box regiment. Molina runs hot and cold and can be blitzed. (Demarco.)

Honestly, did anyone expect this fight to be the classic it was? Especially from Molina's performance against Demarco. I am still in shock!

Matthysse is beatable against an outside shooter, BUT, he proved that he can mount his own offense from the outside. Now, Molina isn't a world beater, but, he put Lucas on the deck and Lucas was able to make adjustments. You dont have to be a world star fighter to put somebody on the deck, but the guy getting up can be world class (or something close), if he's able to get back up and win the fight.

You're right, Molina does run or cold, but he's been on a streak lately. The DeMarco fight did NOTHING for me, because he didn't take a knee...and that BLOWS me about pro fighters, lol. However, he came back to knock out Danny Williams and Mikey Bey...not world beaters, but they were slicksters.

I expected this one to be a war, for as long as it lasted. Again, this one was all about who hit hit harder, quicker, more often, and who could take whose punch...
