wait, why would these guys who both beat ortiz be looking for a rematch? Ortiz should be trying to rematch them but he isn't interested, they can move on to bigger and better things.

Because they were both bad ass fights... ? There were like 6 kds in the maidana fight and ortiz is probably still a bigger draw then both |

It would be a great fight because both guys are tough and come to fight, I think Maidana is becoming a better technician (still has many holes) but he'd be ahead in this bout and I think he'd win in a close decision.

ya think so? i hope his fanbase stuck with him cause hes had a rough streak lol he has a revenge grocery list now I've followed ortiz since he first turned pro, I'm looking forward to his return. The guy is a very entertaining fighter Whose inside game will be better in this one??? My mind tells me maidana will stop him because josesito is too tough for his own good but my gut tells me that the Riverside Rocky has another upset in his future or at the very least he will give Marcos a very entertaining run for his money. |

I'm going Maidana. While I like Lopez (he's fan friendly...dude comes to fight), but had Victor not elected to fight w/ that mouth open, he would've continued to get the business end of Ortiz's punches. I like him, but I don't think he's anything special. That being said, if Maidana doesn't look better this time, than he did against Devon, I may be revisiting this post and my pick.
