Don't be scurred. I think Shane is tough and quick enough in his prime to make this fight VERY interesting. Duran was a tremedous package at 135 and it would a be a tough argument for Shane. Its a good scrap but I think Duran outboxes him.... but at 147 I think Shane could fight with him on even terms. Shane filled out to 147 much better then Duran. |

No. The Shane Mosley that beat Oscar DelaHoya the first go 'round would frustrate Duran with superior movement and leap-in hooks. I cannot fathom a scenario where Duran would convingly outbox a prime Shane. Would be an excellent match though.

Shane is a very brave fighter. Sometimes he's too brave...he would get sucked into trading with Duran, and Roberto would wear him down. |

Yeah, spot on. Duran would make Shane go to war with him and just like Leonard did, Shane would lose on points. |

Duran does have the tools to outbox Mosley, though. He's fast enough himself, had a good jab, and was slicker than sometimes given credit for. Mosley would be competitive but doesn't have the skill to outbox Duran. |

Shane is a MUCH better body puncher then SRL. Duran might find himself on the losing end of those close quarter battles. |

Duran wins 99 out of 100 times. Duran is just a different monster. Whoever said Duran can't handle speed is a fucking idiot.

Duran beats Mosley at any weight. I also agree..If Mosley for some stupid reason decided to fight it out with him like he tried to do with Mayorga,he would get a major whooping..No matter what Mosley did,Duran would come out on top at 35 and 47..Duran was a savage.. Duran was a smart fighter which is a key trait of all Ray Arcel fighters..Arcel thought Duran was involved in a fix during the Leonard fight so he left him.. |
