Wth, why would anyone hate the cobra? He's a bad ass. Plus he a part of one of the most anticipated rematches of the year the guy hardly ever takes a easy fight and its hardly ever boring. Sorry Check, no love for The Cobra here. His ego is significantly greater than his talent. And that just annoys me to no end. i agree with most of what you said...except i don't get the guerrero hate. I liked Robert just fine, Prof, until he and his publicist began their Mayweather campaign. He made a total ass of himself begging for a fight for over a year while literally doing nothing to earn it. Berto was a step in the right direction...but what's extra crazy is that now that he has the fight he's been begging for within reach, he's balking at 2.5 million. Smh. Makes it seem like he doesn't actually expect/want to win and is looking for a big payday (not that I'm against a person wanting to earn as much as they can...key word being 'earn') Anyone that doesn't appreciate Carl Froch and his fights has to be a hater...Seriously? He fights all comers, no excuses...AND his fights are exciting and fun to watch... And someone that has no idea how to spell his name makes me question how much they actually follow the sport... The Cobra is legit and I cannot wait to see him and Kessler squared up again...Will be a great fight Well label me a hater, because I have zero appreciation for Karl Frotch. I don't particularly find him fun or exciting to watch and I've heard him make plenty of excuses in his two loses. So I guess you and I disagree...and that's the beauty of opinion...you're free to have yours and I mine. Makes for a lovely world. And someone that has no idea how to spell his name makes me question how much they actually follow the sport... -- This has got to be one of the silliest things I've ever read. Now, had your argument been that my misspelling of Karl Frotch's name caused you to question my knowledge of the boxer, then that would have made sense. But your statement that my spelling/misspelling of a boxers name makes you question my knowledge of a sport...well that makes me question your critical thinking abilities...js. Anyway, we'll agree to disagree on appreciating Karl. But we can both agree that Frotch/Kessler II is worth the watch. He meant that for me, C. For some silly odd reason...maybe because no one truly cares, I believe Hopkins/Cloud is our only constant here. Strike me down if Im wrong...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm looking forward to this fight. I think Hops has one more great performance left in him, and Cloud's just the right style for him. But as much as I appreciate Bernard and what he's brought to the sport...I'm ready to see him call it a day. Frankly, while I think he can look great against TC...TC also has the kind of power that can get Hopkins hurt if age catches up to him. |

It's an interesting fight imo. But then again, right about now, any fight interests me...be it a street fight a sparring session. The lack of boxing these first few months is definitely annoying to me. I feel like I'm going thru withdrawal and I need my boxing fix |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) as for guerrero...he knows this fight is going to generate serious money. there is no second chance to redo the numbers. who out there is a bigger pay day for him? it's now or never with the money. he ain't stupid. the squeaky wheel gets the oil. |
