RJJ was a junior middleweight at 23 with a 19-0 record with 18 kos. He was within 2 fights of whipping BHop for his first middleweight title. If this version of RJJ was to show up to challenge the FMJ of right now for P4P supremacy, what happens? Thanks for the thoughts!

RJJ is big and has an awkward style but FMJ is a defensive genius I think it's a hard fight to call, a fight you'd have to see to know who would win, it would be a close fought war and the win could turn out to be controversial

Honestly, it could go either way. Both of these guys are in a league of their own...RJJ has never faced a FMJ-type fighter, and FMJ has never faced an RJJ-type fighter. The experience factor would lean more towards Floyd, and the athleticism factor would lean more towards Roy...with the given circumstances of course.
Roy would probably have some of his offense nullified by Floyd's defense, as Floyd would have some of his defense nullified by Roy's athleticism and angles that he threw those flying hooks of his. I've seen this thread months ago, and we all went back and forth, but I seriously dont remember my answer. i know for a fact that I was stuck at this very assessment that I stated above. It all depends on how the two of them approach the fight, and how the other responds... |

at 23 rjj's legs win him the fight. floyd would be too small to counter the longer rangier rjj. i think rjj would seriously hurt floyd at 154.
