Am I the only one who saw that Floyd seemed "not so there" tonight? Cotto is a slow guy, and not all that quick, but for him to tee off on Floyd was a bit weird. Again, did anyone find this fight weird?

I hope that Floyd stays clear of 154, he doesn't look right there. Cotto put on an excellent performance and I really hope to see him back in the ring and I hope he gets a shot at another title. That was probably the most action packed and intense fight I've seen Floyd in. It was a well deserved victory on his part but there were no losers on this night, and that's including the fighters and the fans

I think the body work of Cotto took some steam out of Mayweather

floyd started to look a little to tired towards the end. maybe him being 35 is starting to catch up

i didnt think this fight was that competitive at all. floyd blew him out of the water. it only looked competitive, cause cotto had floyd on the ropes most of the night, but couldnt connect shit. in my opinion cotto only won 1-2 rounds, the 8th and maybe one of the latter rounds towards the end

so mayweather busted his own nose? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Just saw Cotto's twitter, he says he didnt go to the hospital and that he's relaxing with his family. He also said that he respects the judges decision but he thinks he won the fight

not at all when u consider slower guys like castillo and chavez were able to get close to a younger more mobile floyd. cotto is capable of intelligent pressure. i expected him to be in floyds chest for a portion of the fight. it's a shame we delete older threads. i wanted to look back at one i posted when this fight was announced.
