the thread is about Mayweather vs Broner, it wouldnt make sense if i came at and started bitching saying "This would never happen, blah blah" im aware it would take awhile for this to happen, and i dont think it ever would happen anyway. Im not a superfan, after analyzing fights with adrien exceling and comparing them to mayweathers flaws, i can see that broner is better than some people mayweather has had problems with. he may not have had fought as much professional fights yet but he has had an amateur career of more than 300 fights so its not like he hasnt ever fought good opposition...As Broner comes up in his career, even through the mismatches he still dominates his opponents that more than 80% KO rate.. man you could look at mayweathers first couple fights as a pro and know he was destined to be at the top level, just like all top tier fighters. Im just saying IF THE FIGHT DID HAPPEN, then it wouldnt be easy work at all for either fighter. IMO I stopped reading after " i can see that broner is better than some people mayweather has had problems with"... With that said, if Broner is better than some of the people that Mayweather has had problems with does that mean that he can beat Mayweather? I mean, it only takes one punch, and obviously Broner is oh so gifted enough to land it...does he pull it off? This is according to your logic now... |

The biggest advantage i see is broners power. people take mayweathers punches all day, he just throws them nice, fast and precise. he is strong but when you compare them to broners, mayweather will need to be in and out because if he gets that left hook, i dont wanna see him running around like amir khan, it only takes one punch! and if mosely almost put mayweather down, i can see broner doing it. he has the hands to do it. I know he hasnt had the right opposition and thats all i can discredit him for, but he still has the skills. I would love to see Rios/Broner, i been waiting on someone to knock rios out, and broner would be just the person. i wanted it to be Gamboa but oh well i cant be too mad at that switch. I cant see broner losing to garcia, before garcia got him with that hook he was getting Fucked up. if amir khan is putting in work like that then i see broner being more devastating being stronger, a better boxer and counter puncher. mosley didn't put mayweather down. |

lol ima stop before i get attacked. I said Mosely ALMOST put mayweather down, the feint jab then right hand behind it. You're telling me mosely can almost knock down mayweather and cotto can jab mayweather bloody and broner wont put up a good fight?!...Mayweather is much older than he was before, he isnt boxing and being as illusive as he used to be, hes been standing in the pocket alot more. Mayweather would have to be able to keep up with younger, stronger, and possibly faster fighter than him. He would have to teach him a lesson, sometimes the student beats the teacher. Its not like broner doesnt have skills

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Anyhow, look at it this way, Broner would be fighting a guy that he's emulated since he put on gloves. You mean to tell me that Floyd will fall victim to his own, by a younger fighter, who doesn't know the ins and outs of that style? I dont think so. Floyd would be a bit older, but hell, if Marquez's old ass hasn't really lost a step at 38 after all of his ring wars, then Im sure Floyd wont have that much trouble. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/drag.gif) i feel you, i wont let age count him out, it'll only make him wiser. Broner seems really full of himself, too much give up, and the only problem i see happening is that one lucky punch that could connect on mayweathers shy chin, it could be safe to say that broner would be the fastest and strongest opponent as of lately and maybe any other possible future opponents. I wouldn't want it to be another Jones jr vs Tarver. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/black eye.gif) |

I was at this fight and I had broner pulling it out but I was surrounded by about 12000 Mexicans (no offense, I'm also Mexican) so the consensus was a robbery. But I thought broner won clearly in a close fight |
