Basically the titles name here, is Andre Berto a worthy name on a resume to legitimately place you atop the ww division? Berto has looked horrible everytime he steps up his competition yet he has the power/speed to make you cautious. He is better than anyone devon or Bradley have beaten at WW but is he enough to say guerrero is a top contender? Hes coming off a long layoff an injury and a steroid scandal, what do you guys think? A solid opponent or is the ghost just being opportunistic?

i think berto is top 5 in the division. a win over him gives him more credibility. i was impressed when he beat aydin and i thought that was enough to make him a top contender at 147.

I'd be somewhat impressed with Robert. Let's not act like a guy hasn't moved up in weight and whipped Berto's ass before, so I wont be surprised if Robert pulls this one off.

It did for Ortiz. Honestly I could see how people got amped for ortiz. At that point berto only looked bad against collazo. But after looking really bad in his past three fights against better competition maybe he just is what he is. Add the fact that it was foty worthy probably helps the launching of ortiz as well lol |

It would give him some sort of legitamacy for opening his mouth at all, but no... he still wouldnt be a top contender. Beating a ONCE budding star who may or may not be cycling off of roids doesn't mean you get to start pulling your dick out and pissing on ppl lol "You need more people." It also depends on how he won. If he destroys Berto that's one thing. If he has a performance like the one versus Aydin, who I think fought him to a draw, then that's really not all that impressive.
