Yet another reason to love boxing. It also reminds us to pay our taxes, like the responsible pseudo-saints that we all are.
Good luck negotiating your 50/50 split now buddy. If it was me, I'd offer you 75/25 and I think that would still be the most that you'e ever made (which is still more money than I've seen in my entire life). This post has been edited by Cheesey1: Mar 8 2012, 01:08 PM |

Taxes are taken, not paid! They make us think that we're paying, when are taking them the whole time. THEN, if you made too much, then you owe them some shit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dntknw.gif) Let's see how fast his tax situation will get swept under the rug... Let's compare and contrast for a second...shall we??? Mayweather: He has legal issues: The world blows it up He has money problems/tax problems: The world blows it up He wants more money for the fight: The world blows it up He has family issues: The world blows it up He is his own boss: The world blows it up He's a "danger" to society (America/his community/etc): The world blows it up Pacquiao: He has legal issues: It gets swept under the rug He has money problems/tax problems: It gets swept under the rug He wants more money for the fight (despite saying that he will take the smaller split at first) It gets swept under the rug He has family issues: It gets swept under the rug He is his own boss: It gets swept under the rug (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) He's a danger to society (in the Philippines): It gets swept under the rug See the difference here??? |

Its politics and Mannys more politican than boxer lately. He road this so-called next great threat to Floyd all the way to congress and the boxing public. Why fight the man when you can just be in the conversation and pimp the public for all its duckets. |

Yes the pimp hand is almost as strong with the Saint as it is with the Bobfather. The only thing is that these are criminal charges and not just a criminal inquiry (unless I'm mistaken). I'm sure he'll just end up paying a fine, but I know that the govt. over there has to do something. As much as they love the saint over there, that govt. understands that sometimes you have to send a message about taxes. His disciples over here won't carry it, but the cat's out of the bag. I think that he has serious money issues, why is Roach saying that now they'll accept Mayweather's last offer?

Same here, I doubt it, but there's still a chance. If the Saint isn't as paid as his bills and political ambitions need him to be, which I think is the case, we might get it. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That explains espn's new logo "double the standard, double the fun." Teddy Atlas should get Larry Merchant's job.Taxes are taken, not paid! Lol the top rank stable is falling apart. bob arum is saying we aint accepting floyd's offers, roach is saying we gonna have to accept. SMH floyd can offer him 85/15 at this point. All the shit floyd was saying about his fight contracts and $ was on point . |
