I'll give my list in the morning even though I already know! But I have to ask Beardo, while Monzon was great how can he be tops with 9 draws back then?

Monzons draws (like his losses) were early in his career. While I have not seen those fights, I have to assume he got the draws with his D, given how he developed defensively. The footage that I have been able to dig up on Monzon is impressive overall but especially defensively. He was similar to Holmes and FMJ in his ability to recover from being hurt. His movement (especially headwise) reminded me of Ali. Seldom did anyone land flush even when the punches appeared to land. He slipped them and had that uncanny ability to move with them. Of course his chin was impressive also. |

BTW, it is supposed to be the top 5 best defensive fighters. |

Best defensive or most defensive fighters? I've seen fighters with great defense if they wanted to use it. Most of the time, they didn't. Are they excluded from the list?
I've seen Ali sticking his face out and the opponent couldn't even hit it once in 10 shots. |
