Boxing is actually becoming a bit more mainstream over here right now, and with the introduction of the new boxing channel we were discussing in the other thread, steps are being taken in the right direction over here. These steps will result in an improvment in the sport the start of which we are already seeing. From what i've read, the same cant really be said over your side. Now this isn't my attempt to engage in some sort of trans atlantic flame war, cos all I care about is my little corner of the world. (Scotland is p4p by the way) Just dont sit over there with the blinkers on to the fact that Maxy is right, America isnt bringing a great deal to the table by way of world class boxers in very many of the divisions. You are right tho, DeGale lost to an Englishman, Rhodes and Hatton to a Mexican, Barker to an Argie, and Haye to a Ukranian. Face it man, in the new world order, America is just China's bitch.
