Just started watching. Definitely looking forward to the main event. Supporting Agbeko, but as they say, may the best man win.

I hope Vic does not move up in weight. I don't think he'll take he power with him. I'm hoping agbeko avenges his loss.

These guys are going for broke! Technically good stuff to watch. All thrown with thought and still mean intentions.
It really was fun seeing two top notch boxers using the jab so well to attack and set up, IMO, Agbeko won that one. Agbeko was definitely doing more damage with his jab and overall he imposed himself more. This post has been edited by Cheesey1: Dec 3 2011, 11:27 PM |

Mares won with no doubt this time. I still hate him... Hope he gets Donaire in the spring.

BTW... Agbeko cant fight inside to save his life. EVERYTHING is a jab or straight. His hooks looked horrible. He had no uppercut to speak of. The uppercut is there all night. Donaire will stope Mares on an uppercut, IMO. Agbeko was too slow and didnt have the diversity in his aresenal. Didnt the guy who fought Darchinyan look just like Agbeko?? He fights like him too. They should fight each other. I hope they wear the same color trunks that night too.

I had it for Mares 8-4 or 116-112. The judges were way off with 118-110 3x each for Mares. Cheesy, you thought Agbeko won, what was your score? I thought it could have maybe been 115-113 for Mares or 7-5. He just did more in critical moments of the fight. The judges gave ALL close rounds it seems to Abner. Ref Moret was excellent. Abner shows he can fight clean and be a good fighter in doing that.
