I read on espn where Gamboa may be facing Bradley. What's the rush? He's moved up to 130 and he's short. I understand he wants a big payday, and he does have big skills, but why not get one of featherweights to move up to 130 for a fight? There are several names in that division. A fight at 135 with Broner would be fun, once he's available, but I cannot understand why he'd try to jump three divisions. It'll be a mismatch.

Heard about it a couple of days ago over at ESB. They just leading a lamb to slaughter, he has a minimal shot at beating Bradley. Seems like 50 and Arum cashing out on some fighters
Mikey Garcia called Gamboa out after his fight, and it seems that TR is interested in making that fight too. Regardless, I don't think Gamboa beats either fighter, might as well take the better payday. Also, Rafael said that he's heard rumblings that TR is willing to take step aside money in order to allow Bradley to fight Mayweather in May. |

Wouldn't be surprised if they are screwing Gamboa again. Remember not too long ago they wanted him to fight the middleweight of the lightweight division aka rios

Remember not too long ago they wanted him to fight the middleweight of the lightweight division aka rios Not too long ago his promoter was saying that he wanted to fight Floyd. It is obvious that 50 has no idea how to manage or promote. If Yurkois is your only means of making real money you protect him and get the ring rust off of him. Hell he even called out The Problem Broner. I mean this guy wants to fight everyone from 130 to 147. Next thing you know he will be calling out Alvarez and knowing Saul he would gladly accept the fight! |

50 is going to get this kid killed. Then he'll be ripping yet another "friend" in the media as he always does. Gamboa should have said thanks but no thanks to 50 to begin with and kept that line of communication, most importantly the gym ties, to Mayweather. After Gamboa's last fight, I kinda lost all enthusiasm for him. I wanna see him fight Juan Manuel Lopez still for some reason (I like to be able to check off the fights I always wanted to see lol). After that, I could give a flying fuck about this guy anymore lol. He doesn't seem to take himself serious enough so I find it hard to take him serious myself.

Gamboa needs to stop listening to the voices in his head (50 and Arum) they are going to kill his career, I only see devastation if he's moves up because i know he can't take a punch from a powerful 126-135 pounder so how is he going to be able to take a punch from a fully-fledged welterweight (excluding Malignaggi and Bradley)
