So dunno how many of ya'll grew up on this game, but apparently it turned 25 two days ago. I didn't know it was actually younger than I was.
The best Mario brothers game was 3, the weirdest one, BY FAR, was 2 (though I stopped playing after Mario 64). But I mean the whole game is kinda weird isn't it? Eating mushrooms to grow big, flowers to throw fireballs, giant bullets, turtles and mushroom headed characters? Who the fuck thought of this shit? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

It came from wherre most things of this nature come from, IMO at least, misuse of LSD in Japan. I agree with your assesment Snoop, 3 was the best. I can remember really liking 2 when I was young, nice to see that video cos I had forgot how weird it was. But I liked it.
Happy birthday Mario and Luigi, I may now be tempted to dress up as one of you at Halloween this year. Anyone remember the Super Mario Bros film? |

I loved all of 1, 2 and 3. Though I was a BIG fan of the second one, don't know why, I really liked that one. As for the second one being weird, if you got time, the video explains why.

Could not see the video....but hopefully it told how MB2 was a totally different game that was redesigned to be a Mario game.
I remember the all out spectacle that SMB2 turned out to be. You had to pay out the ass for it if you could even get a copy....and then so many people were totally freaked out by it when they finally got it because of how different it was. I really liked it...but never beat it as it was just too long for me as a kid...I remember the pink egg shooting bird thing. Does anybody remember the original SMB arcade and also how they looked on that game with the robot? |

What a fuckin rip off SMB2 is! They copied another game?!? How fucking lazy can those game designers be? |
