I actually think that because of Shane's speed, toughness, and workrate that he would be able to give Ray a decent fight. But I think Ray's ability to adjust in fights along with the fact that he was an underrated puncher would make the ultimate difference. I wouldn't be shocked if he floored Shane late in the fight.

I really don't know why but I like Shane in this one, and for some odd reason I think that these two would forget boxing and try to brawl it out in the middle of the ring.

I would pick Leonard fairly confidently. He has shown a ability to adapt to many different styles & is the naturally bigger man with a fair bit more skill as well I think. Leonard's only danger in this is if he decided to cruise if he focused 100% he would beat Shane handily especially over 15 rounds probably via late stoppage.

^^^I agree with Leonard winning but I'm not sure about stopping Mosley.
Shane is pretty rugged and tough. Takes a good shot. What I do question is how his stamina would hold up in a 15 round fight. Leonard as we all know had excellent stamina. |

Leonard as we all know had excellent stamina. Leonard had plenty of power & the speed to utilise it. The best Leonard had no problems fighting 15 fast paced rounds. |

Yeah. The question is how would Mosley hold up in a 15 rounder?

I think Mosley would hold up well in 15 rounds. I've never seen him tired....even in the first DLH fight. Even in getting his ass beatdown by Forrest...shit I'm pretty sure he couldve taken 3 more rounds of that pounding. You cant question his chin, conditioning, and toughness.
But Leonard beats any Welterweight in history except for the main Sugar himself Ray Robinson. |

I think Leonard would have had a great chance against Robinson. I'd make that one even money.
Hearns would have a great shot also and maybe a prime Donald Curry. Hard to think of anyone else at welterweight. Shane would give either of the two other Sugars a competitve fight IMO because of the hand speed, chin, and toughness. The Vernon Forrest fight was a matter of styles. A big tall weltwerweight who relied on his height and reach, good uppercuts and body punching, and some clinching. Robinson and Leonard would engage more toe to toe action and thus would make Shane look better than he did against Forrest even if he loses. |
