This interview deserves it's own thread (and this section needs some help).
Tank is taking this fight seriously and it shows! The weight is down, he is training, AND the beard is dyed! Check it out fools: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfysg6QSlo0 |

QUOTE(Southeastpaw @ Jan 21 2008, 06:47 PM) Surprisingly, I'm getting pretty pumped about this fight now. GO TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely. With all of the talk concerning MMA champions, up and comers, etc. etc, Sometimes it is great to just kick back and watch a good ol' fashioned brawl where the only thing on the line is pride. Sure, I believe that Kimbo has more to lose in this fight, but if he loses it wouldn't shock anybody. Let the games begin! (IMG:http://k-1sport.de/gallery/fighters/1177b.jpg) |

Yeah but in the "big leagues" Tank Abbot never was a top dog anyway...I've seen him get destroyed enough times...once he even wilted to leg kicks and had to quit..lol. He just isnt gonna have the quickness to deal with Kimbo....a guy can have a good interveiw all he wants...when talk time is over lets see what the old man gots! |

Quickness? Tank can't handle the "quickness" of the AA weekly meetings. He once got slapped by a leap year! But make no mistake, the Kimbo-internet hyped Bas trained sensation is not going to intimidate Tank and won't impose his will on this bar stool brawler. Will Kimbo want to stand and trade blows with Tank in the center of the cage risking his reputation as an iron jawed behemoth or will he look to go to the ground? THAT is the question in this event. I once heard about Tank getting into an argument with a Bulldozer... and that road never got paved. |
