Don't forget that the first fight a lot of people chalked that up to Mitchell's knee in that fight.

and the rematch proved to Mitchell's two fans that the knee was not the problem in the first fight lol

Sharmba got bout three wins after the loss but against nobody great that hadn't made me believe sharmba was going to improve that much in a rematch. As stated this was only proven in the rematch when Kostya KO'd him in 3 rds!!!

Then Floyd took the impressive leap from a shot as hell Gatti at 140 to fighting Mitchell at 147 after his impressive TD against Chris Smith.

You are one of the 1st I've ever come across who is holding it against Tszyu & prehaps losing respect for not giving Judah a rematch?

I don't hold anything against Tszyu.

All I was doing was answering the question of this thread which was "why wasn't there a rematch?" In my mind the reason was money. I could be wrong, but it seems rational to assume that the right amount of money would have made the rematch happen. It also seems rational to assume that Tszyu could have made more money fighting Judah again rather than fighting Tackie, Leija or Mitchell. And because he chose to take less money to fight lesser fighters, my assumption is that it was because he saw the Judah rematch as a bigger risk than the reward of the extra dollars he could have made would have been worth. And I assume that that huge left hand in the first round of their fight was a major factor in his decision making process.

I really don't understand what is complicated about that line of reasoning.

Fuck off Marz. I never said he fought fighters like Floyd I said he never had trouble with slick fighters which he never did. The same can be said for FLoyd he never fought a fighter like Tszyu in his career.

What great slick fighter did Tszyu ever fight? Mitchell and Judah are about 2-3 levels below Floyd. Judah for all his talent has always been flawed defensively. Mitchell...lol...

Mayweather by decision anyday over Tszyu....Tszyu's a terrific fighter but he would've been outpointed.

As for why didn't the rematch happen I don't know but I think Tszyu would've always beaten Judah.

I don't think that example holds much water either, we are talking about the titles held & fought @ 140 ina totally different circumstances

Actually, No. We're talking about a possible rematch irrespective of division or titles contested.

Judah is 3 levels below Floyd???? He did surprisingly well in their fight for you to say that.

Err I actually had never even really seen Mitchell aside from some clips previously to fighting Tszyu and I was picking that fight for the hell of it.

Judah did well for TWO rounds in that fight.

Mayweather UD Tszyu.

I actually gave Zab the first 4 rounds of that fight including a knockdown that wasn't counted.

Once he started that karate shit though in the 5th of 6th I knew he was fucked. LOL
