Yea I can see an upset. That rios quote on the front page has jinx written all over it lol "I will never lose to a no name like abril" or something to that extent. I'll laugh so hard if his ass gets sparked up

Yeah that $9.99 sounds good, but we all know how that will pan out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I remember PPV used to be about $25 when I was younger, and I also remember that wood grain cable box that used to mess up all the time...we used to call it "Big Dookie"... 150-200 tops. |

150-200 tops. That's what I think too. Very boneheaded of HBO or Showtime not to pick this up. In reality, that $10 misprint may be the maximum that this fight is worth, not $45 as it is being reported. I wonder if HBO will replay this the following weekend? Jack |

There is a PPV double-header with two separate bouts as main events from different locations featuring Brandon Rios and Juan Marquez Rios is fighting Abril for the WBA Lightweight Championship in Vegas. Than, over in Mexico City, Marquez fights Fedchenko for The Ring Lightweight Championship The confusion is on the start time and price. I have two PPV channels showing the fight at 8 PM (CT) and another channel showing the fight at 7 PM(CT). However, other than the time, both show the same PPV information, which is correct? And the price is listed at only $9.99? Is that possible? I haven't seen a $10 PPV for boxing since the days of Cedrick Kershners 'Heavyweight Explosion" series. Check your system guides and reply within please. Thanks! Jack Found out. It is corrected to $44.95. Jack |

I wonder if HBO will replay this the following weekend? That's a good question, and it doesn't look as if they will. I see that Mayweather/Cotto 24/7 airs at 10PM (EST), and the Mayweather interview with Dyson airs at 10:30PM. I checked the rest of my HBO stations, and nothing else comes up as "Boxing", so who knows. Besides, if they were to replay it...would they just replay the Rios fight, or would they air the co-feature bout with Marquez as well? Im sure they'll make changes though. imma need a boat and paddle so i can go upstream... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) can someone inbox me? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Im sure I'll have one. |

(Regarding the $50,000 bonus to the winner.)
I like this idea! It may make fighters fight harder! It would be cool to see more of this in the future! That's what boxers did in the old days: http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content12168.html I don't think we are going to see two David Haye's in there! LOL! Jack |

I just got through watchin' the live weigh-in. Rios came in 2 lbs over the limit, but he still has an extra hour to make the weight.
