As some might know i collect fight scores (blog in signature below) , for the Hopkins vs Dawson fight i by far was able to collect the most scores from the press and fans this week...136 in total.
Of this.... The press guys which incude , Dan Rafael , Steve Kim , Steve Bunce , Kevin Iole etc etc all had Dawson winning...Total 18-0 For the total press and fans scores they read 121 had Dawson winning 6 had Hopkins winning 9 had it a draw i scored 117-112 Dawson thanks for the scores from Fighthype cheers for any comments |

I felt Dawson won and it's not even debatable...
I was however shocked at how well a 47 year man could move, Hopkins was slick and landing those right hands I was impressed with Hopkins yes he used dirty tactics but he was on point I enjoyed the fight and loved how Dawson payed homage to Hopkins at the end very classy as always.... |

am a Hopkins fan and even I couldn't see a draw let alone a win for him, that 114-114 card was obviously so it didn't look like the legend was shut out

Hopkins got schooled. IT was different from the Taylor and Calzaghe fights. He didn't just get outworked or outlanded. Dawson outboxed him. I appreciated Bernard Hopkins for his ring savvy, hard work, dedication and knowledge of the sport. However, he handled himself like a cry baby. He got that ass whooped and he should have handled the loss way better. This was not a hard fight to score.

hopkins got his ass handed to him by a younger/better fighter. there was a reason he avoided chad for all those years...and there's a reason he faked injury in that last fight. u all saw why on saturday. that was the most convincing loss he's had since the jones fight. his cheating tactics...the constant head butting and all the bullshit he gets away with is pathetic.

Yeah there is no way around it...Dawson made Hopkins look uncomfortable and neutralized his best qualities. Dawson earned the belt fair and square
