Rios is sounding like a man convinced that he has a shot at beating Pac. I applaud the guy for having a strong belief in himself. I am actually pulling for Rios in this fight. Its not because I dislike Pac (I do loath his fans), its because Rios is a true L.A Clipper fan. I respect that. My question, is anyone giving Rios a shot to win? By all accounts this is a tune up fight to welcome Pac back. I am not sure if Pac still has what it takes to be the Pac of old. If Rios goes the full 12 rounds and looks good after the fight then I call that a success. He ain't getting a decision, no way. In interviews that Pac has given, he is saying that he is re-dedicated to the sport and that he will not look for the knock out but will box Rios (ha). The only problem with his strategy is that he isn't a boxer and he knows he isn't a boxer. If Pac's strategy is trying to box Rios, this fight maybe interesting. Be prepared for all the nut sucking from HBO commentators.

Alex "Slimmer" Ariza just did an interview saying how it isn't fair that Rios is getting tested and not Pac. He claims he isn't suspicious of Pac but he should still be getting tested like Rios.... Did Alex just tell on himself? Does anyone find it remotely strange that all of a sudden Pac has no problem with additional testing? Did he finally get over his fear or needles and being weakened before the fight? Interesting how the media isn't calling Pac a hypocrite.

If Rios wins, how much credit can we give Ariza?

Not gonna be an easy fight for Rios. Pacquiao was beating Juan pretty badly before the KO came, and he looked sharper, since the 3rd fight and the Bradley fight. I haven't seen Pac in an inside fight...maybe never. The closest I've seen to it, is when Bradley forced the clinch a few times, and needless to say...it looked weird.

I haven't EVER seen Rios fight from the outside...at least effectively anyway. As for this Ariza mess...when isn't it a mess? Pac suddenly thinks testing is good for the sport?! You know what, I believe him! Arum may not have wanted that testing, but Im sure Pac didn't give a damn if they did testing or not.

Wait a minute...did I read that correctly? Pac's not gonna get tested, til he gets to China for the fight?! A week before the fight?! Say whaaat? So basically, Pac's not gonna get tested, until the fight. Sounds fishy to me, but again, people dont wanna believe that Mosley was being tested, while Pac wasn't. Oh wait, did he get tested the week of the fight, while Shane got tested the whole time?

Home field advantage. I do not trust anything coming from Manny or Arum. Manny hasn't had a single thought that he came up with since he has been on the scene. What pisses me off about this whole thing... It smells set up.. Ironically the sad part of all this is no one is really talking about this fight. It is less than a month away and I haven't heard casual fans even talking about this fight. I wonder why...

Putting this fight in China makes no fucking sense. This fight should of been in Vegas or Los Angeles, hell even at Madison Square Garden would of made sense.

The more time goes by is the more Ariza drops little shades on team Pac. I wonder will he even come out and say that Pac was on PEDS?

Why would he go and mess up his own pockets & credentials in that process if it was proven to be the case? That would if anything, make him look bad being the strength & condition coach in those period's, withholding that kind of info only up until he got the shaft.

I don't think Pacquaio is done as a fighter, a lot of people forget he was tattoing Marquez up until the point where he got caught. It's boxing and it happens from time to time. What I'm concerned with is if there are any lingering effects of the KO. We will see on Nov 23rd but I expect Manny to put on a show and I expect Rios to make things tough for a while

As for the testing that whole thing seems a little shady, but it always appears that way when testing and Pacquiao is involved. Ariza is throwing some shade but he making himself look kinda foolish in the process. He alluding to stuff that could technically put him in a bad light too since he was Manny's S & C coach. Not very smart IMO

If Pacquaio comes in feeling out his opponent too much he loses, if he comes out gun shy he loses the fight...he needs to plaster Rios to have any level of vindication that he's still the man of lore. Now regarding testing VADA themselves has stated that a rep for them had flown from Germany to GSC to test Pacquaio, this being the second test infact Pacquaio's first random test came before Brandon's. Ariza was trashed by Rios and RGarcia, he knows nobody else wanted to hire him, and he's vying to get media attention. What better way to have your name ringing than to mention "Testing" and "Pacquaio" in one sentence? Ariza will be done after this fight professionally unless someone whose career has been completely derailed needs a change in their camp and is willing to pay what Ariza charges for his services. Pacquaio looks good in this fight, has two more fights in 2014 and I believe has one last farewell fight in 2015..he's gotta start prepping for that presidential election that's coming up in a few years. How weird would it be to have Klitschko and Manny as president of two countries..and David Tua running for whatever he's running for.

Just curious - Why on earth would Pac come out gun shy against Brandon Rios? He's going to be there to get hit with everything Pac is going to throw!......just sayin....doesn't seem like the kind of fight where gun shy would even come into the conversation.

Chi, I am already handing the bulls a spot in the Eastern Conference Championship. Taj Gibson and Boozer already look very good and of course D Rose is scoring 27 points per game!!! Beast of a team!

Ariza does seem to add a cloud of suspicion and doubt. Ariza can always say that Freddie was the one giving him PEDs and say he was told to shut up which is why he has a hard time getting a job. he has been black balled so to speak. I am wondering if Rios does win this fight or looks good, then what? I think there is so much pressure on Pac to perform at a high level that it maybe be his downfall. I say he needs a knock out or bust type of fight. Pac has dropped out of many pound for pound ranks. And let's face it, his name no longer rings with the same authority. I am pulling for him because he is an exciting fighter but at the same time his time may be just about out.

If Pac gets elected President then I am going to cry laughing. Pac can't keep his own camp in line how can he manage a country? Now the Klitichos are college educated and they both are Phd so that is a little different. Did Pac even finish high school? I am not shitting on the guy but being a boxer should not declare you rights to be a president of a nation.

So here is my question... Why is additional testing good in 2013 and not 2009-2010?

If Rios wins then we can expect to hear how a rematch might be made or we may get a a Bradley-Rios fight. Arum is the king of rematches because he doesn't like to go outside his company and share the revenue. I seriously believe we will have a different perspective on TR when DuBoef takes over. I think Manny will be too much for Rios. The things he's used to doing to have success will be difficult to achieve in this fight
