Crowd chanting they want to see Sonnen and Silva next.
Sonnen says "Anderson Silva, you absolutely suck!" Haha. Sonnen says if he beats Anderson has to leave the division. If Silva can beat him, he'll leave the UFC forever. |

Sonnen looked great tonight. There's no way Dana White doesn't set up the rematch with Silva. And I don't see what Anderson can do with such a powerful wrestler. He got DOMINATED by Sonnen for 4 and a half rounds, and short of pulling another fluke win out of his ass in the closing minutes, I don't see how he can win.

Florian about to get beatdown by Jose Aldo. Should be entertaining. Somewhat.

Florian had himself a good first round. He came straight at Aldo and pressured him almost constantly. Haven't seen that tactic before, it appears to have paid off early. No leg kicks by Aldo so far. He needs to get back to them. Too many wild power punches missed for him in that round. Needs to get more technical.

Fairly close and technical 2nd round, I might leans toward Aldo for landing the more meaningful shots, but Florian may just as easily be up 2-0. A few leg kicks by Aldo in this round, but he needs to start landing more. Florian may be getting tired, I believe, from the weight-cut, and not Aldo.

Round 3 a clear Aldo round. That inside leg-kick, left-right 1-2 combination was excellent. As I said, Aldo needs to continue with the leg kicks. That's how he wins fights.
Haha, Florian's trainer said you can't dance away from Aldo, you have to run away. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |
