no one wants to take on lara for what was already mentioned. he has no draw, a modest record (unless you follow enough to know the amateur background) and the ability to fuck the up and comers up at most, and make them look bad at least.
But in dream world, i'd love to see canelo and lara |

i actually think canelo beats lara. canelo has pretty good defense....and if he just switches up his attack a little and puts foot pressure on lara with some good body work...he'll get the win.

Hmm idk if i could agree about the defense. I think I would favor him too but it would be interesting to see how he would deal with laras counter punching and how well he would take those shots. I don't think Lara gas great power but the shots you don't see hurt the most. I'm not sure Canelo can match his speed but Lara definitely can't match canelos power, Saul has heavy ass hands. |

I wouldn't rule Quitana out either. He just scored an upset KO over Lattimore (though he's beat before) after a long layoff. Besides, he IS the first guy to beat Paul Williams, and they wanted to promote it as if Williams was a legit threat to Canelo (which he was), so who better to put in front of Canelo than the guy who beat Williams and just had a KO victory? Quintana is known for taking the wind out a motherfucker's sails as soon as he thinks his ass is about to blow up lol. His nickname should be Carlos "Not so Fast" Quintana lol |
