Yeah, that is our towel. And last year when Pitts played the Titans in the last game of the regular season, the Titans beat them up pretty good....but not content with just he win, lots of players had Steelers terrible towels that they blew their nose into or stompped on. There are numerous instances in the past where that can often lead to bad luck for the team that so chooses to disrespect the towel. The Titans getting kicked out of last years playoffs, being 0-6 and getting their asses handed to themselves 59-0....just might be Karma at work. Maybe next time they won't be so quick to do that shit to the towel! I got it now, thanks for the clarification. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It's a little hard to keep up with what's going on around the league here in China. I catch the Falcons games by streaming it online, but that's about it. Everything else I gotta read online right now. |

oh, look who shows his head in the nfl thread. what's up with lsu?? What can I say, this year I don't see us contending for the a National Championship or the SEC title, because we have too many offensive issues, and are pretty much one demensional, the biggest glaring weakness is our O-Line which has struggled pretty much the entire year, coupled with an inexperienced QB in Jefferson, who can make some big plays with his feet and arm but also makes bad one's and hesitates to make decisions at times(like most young players do). I think up until the last game the coaches kinda of held back with Jefferson, and for good reason, since he is young, but if you look at last game against Auburn we put up some points as an offense and I think that was due to the fact that they have no other choice but to open the playbook and take a chance and let Jefferson loose. Our running game is still the biggest disappointment, and it's not our RB's that are the problem IMO it's a weak O-Line, they're just not getting it done up front. of course the running game is something that we have always been rock solid with. They played a little better against Auburn(plus Auburn is just a bad team and going downhill fast, was not a fan of Chizic at Texas) but still Alabama is a very solid, team(they have issues with offense mainly because of an inexperienced QB as well, just their defense is outstanding) and a very stout defense that they need to step it up big time to have a chance. I think Bama will win in a close one BUT I do think our WR's will be able to make some plays over their corners, even though their corners are very good at man coverage we have some big, tall and quick WR's that can exploit them but only if Jefferson is accurate and has the confidence to put it up so they can go get it. Our defense got off to a somewhat slow start the first few games but they seem to be getting better and better under Chavis each week. I think the problem early on was our defnesive line was not stepping it up, out secondary and LB's were getting it done but not the D-Line, they seem to be playing much better now though... Personally I see us losing to Bama this week and I think Arkansas at the end of the year and finishing 9-3, I think with the serious issues we have with our O-Line and a young QB that's not that bad. I think next year is probably our year to contend though This post has been edited by hardhead: Oct 27 2009, 02:21 PM |
