I think the stoppage was probably correct. I say probably, because I think a case could be made that Weeks could have waited until the end of the 10th round, consulted with the doctor and than stopped it. I think there would be less debate from the fans and media if that had happened. There wasn't anything on Angulo's punches, except maybe a bit in the 8th, (his best round.) The crime I don't think was a controversial stoppage, it was the outragousness of Golden Boy making this a PPV, and $70 at that! That's where the bullshit should lie.

Good post-fight debate about the pros and cons of Week's decision. Both sides were well presented.

weeks did a good job of sticking to his guns and explaining the situation. lots of refs would question or falter their original call if they got outed like that.
