Fix my arse. Clottey did what he ALWAYS does which is come up short in major championship defining fights.
If you go back to threads regarding his performance against Cotto the criticisms are virtually identical but no-one accused that fight of being fixed. In short Clottey is a guy who can't do it on the biggest stage, this is merely further evidence as to this point. I'll tell you if it were fixed Manny's face wasn't supposed to look like that and I don't care how well Clottey was conditioned, if it was fixed no way ws he supposed to take that many brutal shots to the body, I bet the guy is pissing blood for a week. When Clottey CHOSE to throw he actually made Manny look kinda bad and again if it was fixed this certainly wouldn't be on the menu. Sure hate on Pac if you will but the fantasises and delusions of the Pac haters grows stranger by the day. I expect to see a conspiracy video on the fix in this fight on YouTube in the next day or so. LOL |

The fix would only have been worth it if Floyd was gauranteed to beat shane, which he is not. I cant see shane taking a dive for anyone.
I think this is simply how this fight was always going to pan out. Clottey is way to inactive, he got swarmed and so never pulled the trigger. Pac dominated clottey, a guy who doesnt know how to win big fights |

Clottey showed that he was capable of really troubling Pac when he decided to let his hands go but never threw enough or in combinations through the whole fight. By saying that, I was never on the edge of my seat or under the impression that Manny was in any danger of ever really loosing this fight…from the moment it was signed.
This is only the second ‘legit welterweight fight' Manny has stepped up to & have both been exhibition fights against punching bags. Since leaving lightweight his wins have not been as great as they appear on paper or by his fans with his demands, catchweights & shady performances like this. Although it was a nice change & the attendance was pretty impressive it felt the electricity was lacking inside the Dallas stadium..even in this thread. I knew as soon as I saw Clottey smiling, dancing to the ring he got word that money entered his bank account sooner than expected. Clottey didn’t seem to be putting much on his punches & seemed at times they were taking it in turns throwing with no real exchanges in the fight. This fight reeked. |

LMFAO @ fix! Did y'all fools think ear muff ear muff 1 punch over and over would win anything? Wow this site is getting kinda bad & I got love for many of you! It's getting more pitiful than Clottey himself! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Haha, translation: the panfoons are a bunch of faggots who can't give credit where credit is due. Plan and simple. Cottley fights like he always does and Manny fights like he always does, one throws very few punches, the other throws a million.. |

Article about the fight
I don't know why they called this a "supposed mega-fight"..Clottey has to be a top guy in boxing, not just in a weight division to create a mega fight..My thoughts on the fight---easy win for Pac-man even though Clottey landed some good left uppercuts.. |

Very good performance from Pacqiuao whose work rate once again was extremely good. Clottey took a lot of good shots to the body and simply had no answer to Pacs punch output.
Fix? Get a life you twats. Did you expect Clottey to go in there all guns blazing like that's his style or something? Agreed with the judges scorecards, thought they were bang on. Pacs work rate will definitely give Mayweather problems should they ever fight. |

First of all, caneman is not even on the Pontoon, meaning this disgrace of a fight was clear to even the general public. Second of all, ALL of us thought Pacquiao would win, but Clottey didn't show up to fight. He showed up to get paid. |

At the very least, the fight was fixed in this way....
Team Manny fixed him up with a guy they knew had absolutley no chance to beat him. |

I told you guys Clottey is a bitch.................Hopefully, Salvador will stop raving about this loser and find another fighter thats worth his backing. Oh, and there was no fix, Clottey is just born to lose.
