I agree that people need to stop trippin sayin shit like boxing is dead just cause Pac got robbed. You see Pac and Roach cryin and whinin? So why should these people do?
Lara vs Williams and Rios vs Abril are the biggest robberies of today in my book. But it's good that it has finally happened to a big name fighter. It creates a bigger warning sign than other robberies. Sad but its true. Now judges would think twice before pulling a robbery on a fighter at least till this whole shit cools down. Pac and Mayweather have set the stage in reforming boxing. Mayweather with drug testing and all these fighters being positive popping up like daisies. Pacquiao unknowingly sent a message to judges to think twice on a robbery. I wish Teddy was at HBO. Poor guy speaks the truth. |

It would be good to find out in that article what recent big fights the judges and the championship federation officials went to dinner with the promoter as Teddy talks about. That would be something that needs to stop, but who or what would stop it? And I could understand with international officials, you want to be a gracious host. However, the promoter should not be the one showing that kind of patronage. He certainly should NOT be picking up the check!

Jack so the idea would be to bring this stuff to light so they can be shamed into doing what's right? u know this is bob arum we're talking about here right? the guy has no shame. he's the same guy that brought us pac/margarito and cotto/margarito 2. absolutely no shame in his game. |

As you guys have stated this is nothing new to boxing. And it definitely wasn't the worse decision ever.
Sturm-de la Hoya was way worse IMO. |

I thought Campillo vs Cloud and Lara vs Williams was worse than this. I love Teddy Atlas' knowledge and analytical prowess on the sweet science man. I wish the politics took a back seat and allowed this man to be at the forefront of boxing analysis. He would do wonders for the sport if he were on HBO or Showtime. This interview was amazing!
