Manny's toughest challenges came from guys who wanted nothign to do with his "charming" personality.

That's the truth, for the most part anyway. Anybody else that was supposed to be a challenge, was at a terrible disadvantage and "promoted" as a threat. I prefer his opponents back in the smaller weight class days...but hey, I feel like that about most fighters anyway.

You know, I never thought about the Pac/Marquez situation like that. Good stuff. As far as his past opponents, I just believe that they're happy to be getting a payday, especially Mosley.

He definitely lucked up, especially after he whored for that Mayweather fight, had a good round and blew the rest, then had that terrible outing against Mora...he knew that was his last chance at a paycheck.

I believe the only guy that can provide that "no respect" factor is Mayweather. Think about it, he has said and done too much already, and people hated just for being who he was. They hate him more day by day, because the fight hasn't happened yet.

No matter what his approach may be during the build-up for the megafight (if it happens), people are still going to boo him like crazy, so Im sure he'll treat Pacquiao the same way he treated De La Hoya during their huge build-up.

Hell, if I knew I was gonna get shit on by viewers and people in attendance, then I'd act an ass too. Besides, the same results are already predetermined, so I dont see the point in reserving any asshole-type behaviors (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Yea i think Shane went in to that fight without a plan b and so forth, i mean u can see after shane caught mayweather with the right hand that he kept trying to shoot it out there as if mayweather would not figure him out even after being hurt by it. He thought his gameplan (right hand) would do it for him but mayweather did what shane couldn't and thats find the answers to the problem.

And Yea Mayweather is that guy that would get under his skin but it's like you said "if the fight happens" which i'm pretty shore it will one year or another (lol), but at this point i'm spent on all the back and foward hoobla that these 2 do to keep the buzz alive. So much so that i can finally say that i don't care as much anymore if it does happen or not. 1 things for shore though is that unless it does I'll always be curious on how it would play out though.

I'm not saying you can't be humble or respectful to your opponent. However, Tim has never been that way in the past. He's always been a shit talker. So why now is he the giant head gentleman? To me, he's already lost a round in the fight. Manny's toughest challenges came from guys who wanted nothign to do with his "charming" personality.

BOOM!

Exacactly my point, well said.

I agree. Guys that go in there with Pac, almost never have a plan B, even Morales in the first fight. he had a strong Plan A, and Plan B was to turn southpaw in the final round, which completed offsets the idea of having a back up plan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Bradley needs to go in there and implement a simple and effective plan, which to me would be, turning Pac and using body shots to set up other shit. He will have to play it out as if he's natural at it, because most of the time, it's dead obvious when a fighter is implementing a game plan that isn't in their repertoire.

I keep hearing everybody say that Bradley will pressure him and bully him, but doesn't that involve coming forward? Survey says...yes it does. Is that exactly what Pacquiao wants him to do? Survey says...yes he does.

They are too friendly to fight and make all that money. (They are litterly laughing their way to the bank) As a boxing fan I want to see opponients have respect for each other but I also want them to make it apparent that they are going to be enimies once they enter the ring. This is boxing and not a cheer leading contest. I am not going to pay my money to see to people whom look like they want to dance with each other and kiss rather than draw blood. Tmothy Bradley looks like he just one the lottery. I saw the press conference video and Pacman is taking pictures of Bradley like they are at a photo shoot. What kind of mess is this.

IN MY OWN OPINION, what turns me off about this fight while watching the L.A. Press Conference or even behind the scenes of there commercial is how SOFT with words and all around behavior these to show with each other. It almost made me forget that these 2 were actually going to fight each other the way they joke, Smile & laugh at ech other. I mean come on give me a break, i can't be the only one shaking my head at this. I mean somebody tell me, WHAT'S THE POINT OF FIGHTERS FIGHTING IF THEY LIKE EACH OTHER THIS MUCH. SAVE ALL THE RESPECT AFTER FIGHT, AFTER YOU SEE WHAT THE FIGHTER CAN DO. How does a guy like Bradley who's been known to be confident & to get under the skin of his opponents, all of a sudden be so warm hearted. It's like Joshua Clottey (remember him) all over again. These 2 can not even do a Stare Down without cracking a smile and laughing and thats pathetic. Now anything bad at this point to be said by either fighter is a contradiction because these two made it very well known that they "LIKE" each other... jeez, where Chisora - haye, Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Mayweather and plenty other mean fighters when you need em.

Speaking of Contradictions whats with the "Peoples Champion" Manny Pacquiao "The Man Who fights for the People before Money" all of a sudden be "the man that fights for Money before People". This guy headlines Yahoo news stating the reason the negotiations between him and Floyd fell apart was because Floyd gaurenteed him more money than he's ever made and ever will make in boxing and (alledgedly) not a penny more. Yet months prior went on record to say he'd fight him for a lesser share. He was even as bold to state that he would fight him for free.

Last but not least we have Freddie Roach being a week removed from basically calling this fight unworthy to now believing it's a "very good fight". I like Freddie & respect him as a trainer but never let money take your WORD away man. You Can still speak your mind about how you really feel and still sell the PPV just as well as you can by not.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE GUYS?

I just hope that Pacquaio retires after this and takes his contradictions (that none of his various mouthpieces call him on - yes that's you espn, among others) and travelling circus fans with him. As far as Roach, I think that once he's no longer part of the Pacquaio Parade, he'll stop sounding like such an idiot.
Bradley...looks to me like he tweezes his eyebrows...'nuff said.

I agree they were way too friendly at the press conference. Bradley looks like he's just happy he got his big payday and no matter what happens in the ring he already won. It's definitely not the usual serious and hungry Bradley we've seen in the past. I don't mind fighters being nice and respectful towards each other but no need to act like best buddies.

Im wondering Timmy has gotten all fat and shit...knowing damn well that he was going to have all of this publicity when the fight was signed. Anybody remember how fat Ortiz was during the Star Power build up? I guess this is why it pays to stay in shape between fights, or at least maintain a decent weight.
