I believe in 1997 this one was supposed to happen but Norris was past his best by then.
I'm talking about Terry's prime here, matched up vs the Tito 2000/2001... Norris had an amazing command of every punch in the book. In terms of pure skills, there are not too many better than him. A great jab, powerful left hook, great combinations. His ability to take a punch was never the same after he met Julian Jackson, though. After that it just seemed real easy to hurt Norris. Trinidad of course, was a very good puncher. To me, he made better use of his height and reach as a welterweight and boxed alot better than what many give him credit for. When he moved up in weight, it was clear that he fell in love with his power and just started to believe that he could just get anybody out of there at any time. The one thing I think he did better as he moved up was take a punch. Sure he was floored by Vargas and Reid, but he was never seriously hurt by those guys unlike at welterweight where he was clearly hurt by Anthony Stephens and Yory Boy Campas. I think Norris starts fast and builds an easy lead, flooring Trinidad once in the process and befuddling him. By the mid rounds, I think Trinidad starts to land with a bit more consistency as he turns up the workrate. By the late rounds, I think Norris would start to tire a bit from the pressure Trinidad would bring and I could see Tito flooring him late in the fight and getting the stoppage. PR,sorry man but I'm biased against Trinidad so I'd pick Norris..Not much I can say besides I think Trinidad is over rated and can be beaten by pure boxers..

I think Norris WOULD beat the total shit out of Trinidad for like the first half of the fight..and probably drop him 2 times...but maybe Tito catches him with something in round 7 or something...
