Solid points,

What happens to Top Rank when Pacquiao retires from boxing? They really need the Cold War to end. However, it won't.

Jack

Pac ain't retiring soon but the fact is if he starts losing, he mine as well retire. His star is diminishing slightly, plus, who does he have left to fight?

Is there an undercard for this fight? I got Juan Manuel in an UD. Mike don't have the skills Juan Manuel has. I doubt Juan takes a 5th Pac fight. He will retire after this fight forcing a Pac vs. Bradley 3 or Alvarado fight.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Pac and Canelo fight at the end of the year if Marquez loses. Oscar is going to need a big event to keep GBP humming once Shaeffer leaves and takes all of Haymon's fighters with him. Arum will be desperate for a big name for Pac. Pac and Canelo would do well over 1 million buys as well. That would be a great fight.

Didn't know this was at a 43 catchweight... Mike looks significantly larger standing next to Juan ...I'm talking height and reach. I hope he uses it to his advantage.

Also the postal aydin fight is supposed to be for a mandatory spot vs swift.

Interesting preview from Yahoo Sports,

Is Alverado giving Marquez too much respect?

At what weight? Saul can't get down to 152 and Manny ain't making it two 150. Even Saul's team said that they weren't interested in fighting Pacquiao. Pacquiao is out of opponents. He has Juan, Ruslan and Alvarado to choose from. Those fights will not pay off the tax man.

juan will fight pac for a fifth time simply becuz he ants a welterweight title for his legacy to be the first taco eater to win five belts five divisions. since he knows pac so well and he koed him, hell take the fight cuz he knows he can win. id take pac in the fight. the new pac who dont take chances and just boxes will be able to beat marquez because he wont be able to use pacmans agression against him to set him up. pac will in a decision like the 3rd fight.

Tough fight to call tonight. Marquez just doesn't rise to the occasion when he's in against any opponent other than Pacquiao, but the counter puncher should have success against Alvarado who comes forward to attack. JMM by close decision tonight.
