i thought the ref was counting and then butes team came over and told him there was no point?

True story, MG. My post was in response to the fight commentators who were sayin' the ref was doing something bizarre or wrong. They thought he waved it off immediately, but rather, he ruled the "ropes" were keeping him up....then Froch's promotor entered the ring and could've been DQ....if it were Texas (see: Kirkland/Molina). lol

I love this sport.

There are moments in time where boxing is peerless as a form of measuring athletic prowess.

This was one of them.

What a fight.

I think froch should go after kessler, avenge his loss, then go after ward. I think he can beat kessler

Damn looks like SHOWTIME dropped the ball here. Also looks like Andre Ward may have lost a little money here as well. A fight between 2 undefeateds is always an interesting and marketable. Froch just stole Wards lunch money...

Don't want to see Ward-Froch 2. I think he should rematch Kessler, I think he can win that fight. Ward beat him decisively in their fight and a second fight may bring adjustments on both sides but he'd lose again. You have a man who said numerous times that he is 2nd best in his division to Ward, his demeanor and comments after that fight make a 2nd fight unappealing to me. I'd like to see how someone would sell that fight. If it's solely based on his performance today then forget about it. Bute was exposed, he put the definition of the word on display for all to see. I'm not a big Bute fan but I'm disappointed in his effort in the fight

Oh she's got something for him tonight, and it damn sure aint no IBF title. As you said, the IBJ title...Impeccable Blow Job. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

That's exactly what I had in mind ! What a trophy that girl is. Screw Jinkee I say (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But really, what a fight. I am dumb that I didn't put any money on Froch. People were telling me hes gonna win this, but I thought it's just a home town hype. (I live in Loughborough, half an hour away from Nottingham) But at least my prediction was fulfiled!
