I think it's a good move for him its been a great move for the others dispite perros performance against canelo. I saw alot of improvement in Khan would like to see another fight against b level or highe comp to truly gauge the change. Just waiting on Beryl to come back and display his talents and improvements against c..b.. level dudes to gain his confidence and gauge where he's at right now also. I like mares as a fighter even though he gets reckless at times as Khan has done previously. But he's got the tools to make things happen with a few adjustments IMO.

No bueno.. I have yet to see much improvement from any of his other project's. Mares is better suited for a Garcia type trainer

Why when a trainer gets hot, everybody wan' jump ship into a stable of fighters with the same trainer? That dosen't create a bit of a distraction for a trainer to have to focus on multiple stars/p4p fighters in his camp?

Anyone seeking the help of Virgil will improve. He finally got Amir too commit to a fight for a full 12rds and not go guns homilies he usually does. One of the best in the game, I think this will extend Mares' career. If he went with a Robert Garcia, sure he may have won fights but half his stable is vegetables with zero defense with the exception of Mikey. Mares doesn't need a guy who just comes close but doesn't get it done. He needs more patience and better defense, not many out there can do that but Hunter can

the problem is that ppl expect hunter to be a miracle worker. u can't expect him to fix a guy like berto who has been flawed since the very beginning overnite. it takes time. as for angulo...his style doesn't even mesh with someone like virgil so what can he really do with him? mares has jumped trainers quite a bit. he's worked with nacho beristain...then clemente medina...i think virgil is an improvement. only time will tell. they need to take their time making the adjustments and make sure he's match favorable.

Something makes me wonder if Hunter's a pastor or deacon on his spare time...these fighters run to him orphans, and sometimes as a savior. Lol

very true ....although i feel berto hasn't got a far shake in his new environment due to only having one fight which he was injured midway thru the fight
