Is this fight even gonna go down?!?

Ward said he isn't stepping in the ring unless he gets 35-45% of edwins purse as stated by WBA rules when failure to make weight occurs. So much for that mil Edwin wanted

Fightnews said he got down to 180, so it appears we are set to go:

ESPN says non-title fight, so even if Ward were to lose, he would still be world champion. (Because of the weight issue.)

Who cares about champ anymore, Ward would instantly lose his invincibility and be that boring as fuck fighter that was never really any good. If he lost...

Tell me about it. Didn't that nearly outprice himself at one point, which almost kept this fight from happening? And now he creates an even bigger roadblock for himself...what a douche. If Im not mistaken, wasn't he offered 600k or 800k before? If he stands to lose 35-45 percent of his purse tonight, then he's looking to make around less than that...or something in that neighborhood. Smh

Anyhow, I want to say that Ward will make easy work of him, but I don't wanna underestimate the theater of uncertainty, when it comes to this sport. The wise answer leans towards Ward winning, but I'm not sure how Edwin plays his cards tonight. He could either show up as the opponent and get fleeced, or he could pull off the unthinkable (beat Ward), just to go into a rematch and ask the same $1M and try not to be his own roadblock. Lol

My silly ass just read the link, he's only going to lose 20% of his purse, which is a nasty $200k. Still sucks, but oh well.

Just so long as Edwin does not pull a Clottey performance like against Pacquiao. He better at least TRY to do something and not be all hype and no fight.
