Yes it is, but angulo has a incredible work rate solid chin and has a nack for finding boxers. I think Lara will bank rounds taking some shots and eventually angulo lands something hard enough and hopefully finishes it. Because if he doesn't he will blow his load like in the kirk fight

if this was the old angulo, i would agree. angulo seems to be less aggressive and doesn't take the shots as well as he used to. i can't see perro winning this one.

Post Kirkland, Angulo has decreased his work rate and increased his ability to get hit (I didn't know you could get any easier to hit). I'm going Lara by wide margin decision. I can't imagine Angulo outpunching Williams and you saw how Lara dominated that fight.

i wouldn't call that domination. he landed the bigger shots, no doubt....but williams out worked him. that's why i believe it was so controversial with the judging.

I love this fight!! We're getting some great matchups that'll be coming down the pipe soon and I can't wait!! With that said I'm going Lara by UD, I think his style is all wrong for Angulo, but it will be an interesting fight

I'm not sure what happened to that dust up but maybe the powers that be figured this would make for a better bout being that they're both more well-known than Martirosyan, not to mention that they already squared off once and no clear winner due to the butt. Personally they have unfinished business which needs to be settled and I'd like to see it.

I think he's out because of a cut or something, think I heard something about surgery.

Plus you couldn't donate that purse bid to charity, nobody would pay for that fight again.

For the shot to get the winner of Trout Alvarez, I hope. I'm going with Lara, but he didn't look particularly good his last few outings. Angulo is always a threat because he's going to put everything into every shot. He may hurt Lara and then we see how Lara deals with that. I've never seen him hurt before. See if he's got what it takes to dig deep down because Angulo will have his first few rounds.

Now, I'm sure if(when) Austin trout beats Alvarez, he'll likely take on the winner here with no problem. If Alvarez were to somehow pull out a miracle win, I'm sure he picks another lucky guy from Jr WW or WW and avoids the guys waiting in line at 154. Miguel Cotto is still in play too.

I like this fight alot. I say Angulo stops Lara and put himself back in the sweepstakes of big fights. I didn't like the Lara I seen in his last fight and this is the right time for Angulo to take this fight after coming off a tough win.
