From this day on your cool in my book. I was thinking the same thing about the bold. Kanye just created a masterpiece with this album. I feel the same way bro, esp in regards to your previous post about diggin' mellow rap over that gangster shit saturated with lyrics on drive by's and drug deals. I HATE the new guys like Gucci Mane and Wacka Flocka with a passion. I don't know if u heard of Inverse, but there these two dudes from southern cali and i've been listening to them since high schoool they're dope. Here's a track check 'em out: |

Alright, I listened to this a second time, and it's a solid album. Personally, I think college dropout, late registration, and graduation are his best albums. This one is on par with graduation to me, and it's pretty good. I think there's a couple songs I really can't stand, and that may have stood out more the first time I listened to it. I truly can't stand that porn star song, that's just too out there. Also, playing the same three piano notes on runaway just isn't that masterful...just sayin. I like mellow rap as well. I like most hip hop to be honest. BigG, I'm liking the J Cole a lot.

hahahah I watched that Baracka Flacka Flames shit a while back, and thought it was hilarious. The J. Cole stuff is pretty good. He seems a little more passionaite in his songs than Drake. Drake just seems like he's going through the motions half the time. Plus, Drake tries to sing in half his songs. I have nothing against Drake though, but he just doesn't deserve all the hype around him.

Best produced album I have heard in a while......
Aside from 808s which wasn't really a hip hop album Kanye's discography is top notch this is a great album and it is not even in the top 3 that he has done. |
