What kind of training do fighters do during the last few days before a fight? What would Cotto and Martinez be doing each day for the next few days leading up to the fight? Are they still running X numbers of miles per day. Are they still sparring?? Just curious.

Your most likely going over the game plan, just the bare essentials etc etc. no overly extended stuf just preparing for the fight....like Gorver said,no one really spars the week OF the fight, that's a bad idea IMO...isn't this what happened to Haye?

Thanks for responding. What would you eat on fight day and what times?? Supposing your fight was at 11pm.

Mostly stretching, hitting the speed bag, a little heavy bag workouts and light runs.

nothing to heavy. no sparring. maybe mitt work and light bag work. road work if weight is an issue...but just staying sharp is the main thing in the days leading up to a fight. all the work should have been done.
