Lol No it doesn't. All it'll do is give Arum another out for Pacquiao fighting Mayweather. He'll say "We fought Broner who is, in my opinion, a younger, stronger, better Mayweather." Especially if Manny were to win. Or he will use broners name to keep manny relevant as he has w/ mayweather and just act like he is trying to make the fight... We've seen this dance before |

Broner vs Mayweather will never happen.....Pacquaio vs Mayweather still hasn't happened...so we they might as well try and make Broner vs Pacquiao. Just my thoughts.

Even still, the same roadblocks are in place. Both al haymon fighters, both co promoted by gbp, and I'm pretty sure broner would want testing as well. |

Garcia is way too slow for Broner. I know speed isn't everything, but it's Broner who has it lol. As far as Rios goes, I think that fight would be a total mismatch. Broner would have a counter-punchin' field day.

Broner might as well move up to 147 and fight pacquiao. I don't see anybody beating broner at 35 or 40 and his competition is limited at 47. The kid has it all.
