If Lopez managed to back up Canelo there's no reason why he Kirkland can't unless he's got Victor Ortiz syndrome

All Kirkland has is a puncher's chance, Canelo will beat James-plus we all know that Kirkland doesn't have enough dedication to this sport and can't seem to stay out of trouble.

Alvarez & Kirkland would be fun, but does Canelo need to fight someone who will prepare him for the speed & defense of Floyd? Of course, if a Floyd fight is contingent on a win, maybe you do play it safe. If we're playing it safe though, why not Mayorga instead of Kirkland? No because he wont ever get to fight Mayweather. |

I Love this fight. Would be a good test for Alvarez...Kirkland got heart, but looks a little shaky with his chin. If he fought at a better pace and learned to tighten the D up a little he could make it interesting. Good Fight here...make it happen Shaefer.
