Anybody see any potential Gamboa opponents at 130, in the event that he doesn't return as a featherweight? I'm looking for hardcore fan responses and fights that actually makes sense...dont wanna hear Broner or Donaire's name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes_anim.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/no2.gif) Diego Magdaleno?

Not bad for a comeback/tune-up fight. Hell if it happens on Showtime (which Magdaleno fought on recently), it could be an upset. Lol

See now that's a fight I could see GBP making, they don't seem to mind putting in their "stars" in with live opposition. Obviously we get the odd tomato can, but by an large they do alright. If Yuri got that fight and did a number on Magdaleno (obviously i think he would, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ) that'd be a good entrance to the 130 division... Maybe Roman Martinez? think he's got a fight coming up tho..

So umm, any further news, cos it's been hard for this Gamboa fan dammit! Nearly a year an this dude aint fought yet, I know its due to the evil Bobfather etc.... Still, this dude got me waiting like he's Mayweather or some shit. Why every bandwagon I jump on gotta be on a long ting, it's just like queues at the supermarket, always pick the slowest moving one...

Hahaha!!! Whaddup Slump! You're right, it is hard out here for a Gamboa fan...you'd swear he was Floyd by the way his fans are waiting to see him fight again. I would expect him to be matched against an old tomato can to knock the rust off, and Magdaleno would be a good scrap while it lasts. He's undefeated and comes to fight, though I remember him getting dropped by Fernando Beltran a few months ago...he still won the fight.

I have to see more of Roman Martinez, maybe I've seen him fight "by accident" as I've seen many up and coming fighters duke it out on FNFs. Ha! I just looked up what a "queues" was..and this is what followed..."Queue management is a hopeless endeavour. One cannot calculate the structure of man." Good luck with that....sounds like it has a lot to do with long lines and shit (help me out here). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Magdaleno could get similar treatment to what Angel Manfredy got from Floyd if he faces Gamby. I think his gameness will lead him to get caught up in the storm that is "El Ciclon". However he did look like he can box an counter, so I aint gon straight write the dudes hopes off...

Queues are just that, a line at the till... You know how it is, whichever line you pick takes the longest, seems like i got that luck with fighters too...

As for Roman Martinez, last time I saw him fight he got upset in a tough scrap with UK dude Ricky Burns. He's a bit raw, but has some power, kinda like a lesser known Juan Ma Lopez imo...

Ha! Those queues are no joke from what I've read. It cant be any worse than the shit we deal with in the States...here is a bit similar. For instance, Wal Mart will a thousand fuckin' customers, but there are usually about 4 registers open. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I try to mindfuck myself into thinking that Im getting in a shorter line, but those usually take the longest.

As for Yuri, he shouldn't have any trouble getting through his first couple of opponents after knocking off the rust. I hope age doesn't become a factor for him. He hasn't been in any wars, so he should okay. I wouldn't mind him fighting Salido again!
