It's amazing how this guy stood up to Sugar Ray Robinsons left hooks and combos. I think Jake is without a doubt one of the hardest dudes ever to step in the ring.

When people talk about 'iron jaws' they only need to look at LaMotta. He really was the epitome of an iron jaw. Those punches Robinson was hitting him with were full blooded and only a tiny percentage of fighters could have stood up to that.
Definitely one of the very toughest men to ever step in the ring. Was only watching footage of his 15th round knockout over Laurent Dauthuille the other day. |

I would actually give Jake a good chance at any fighter between 154-160. His boxing skills are very very overlooked IMO.
