Malignaggi is a very hard working fighter...he ran into someone who had his number at the time in Gauge, but recently he has impressed. He has been on a spectacular comeback, displaying all the skills he has vs. fighters like McGirt and Buddy Sine. Thank you Cyrus for this GEM of a fighter. He just upset top 10 P4P beast Mike Taylor. With that win, he is automatically a HOFer in my gym.
I believe Malignaggi has earned the right to fight for the title but Cotto has alot of options so Malignaggi will keep fighting the best until Cotto gives him a shot. |

Malignaggi is a straight beast at lightweight but I ran into trouble against Gauge. Other than that, Malignaggi is a beast. He will get his shot, maybe after malignaggi gets through taylor again and if cotto can get past navarette if that is the next match up for him.
