QUOTE(blackbelt2003 @ May 27 2008, 03:13 AM) Wow...I've just finally watched the fight, and I don't get where all the hate comes from! (OK, I get it with the CEO, but he would have slated Hatton if it had been a one round win (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) I mean, I understand the hate when you get a guy like, say, Ishe Smith or Vivian Harris, when they talk shit, spout their mouth off and promise this and that and then bomb. But Hatton is just a regular guy, he never talks trash and has NEVER looked anything more than a hard-working, mediocre kind of guy who trades on fitness, toughness and strength rather than skills. Those are the kind of guys who normally get love from the fans, AKA Ray Mancini, Barry McGuigan, Troy Dorsey etc. But with Hatton it seems the other way round! Yes, he's dirty and fights rough with holding on the inside, but no less than most others with his kind of style. The Lazcano fight was a decent one, entertaining throughout, I only gave Lazcano rounds 3 and 10, and Hatton being 'hurt' in the latter was extremely over-played. He was slightly rocked in the 8th, but immediately came back with better shots. I don't get where all the 'shot' comments are coming from. Ricky looked just like he has done since before the Tszyu fight. He's never going to be the best p4p in the world, and he will always be taking punches on the way in. Black I think Black just jumped off the Hatton Hatewagon! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Sorry CEO! Jack |

The HHW is retired, Jack......the list of Members is locked for historic purposes....there's no way off OR on that list now....in fact, I'm kind of upset because blackbelt hasn't been around....he basically missed the entire 5 month Peace and Love phase I went through after 12/08/07...where Hatton wasn't on my mind at all, and I was spreading good will across the board.
and remember...The Honoraries were never the most ardent Haters on the front lines. They were the diplomatic ones in the back........so his reply doesn't surprise me. The things I'm saying now is just a little residual Hate because he fought again....Hatton is a nothing. He's done like that burger I forgot to take off the grill the other day.... |

Malignaggi looked HORRIBLE. He was an embarrassment. Him and his dumb fucking hair. He should be ashamed of himself. Had to get a haircut midway through because he was getting roughed up and his quaff was all over the place. What a fag.
I thought that fight was a LOT closer than the announcers had it...and surprisingly much closer than Fighthype had it. Admittedly, I started watching from middle rounds on, but I didn't see many rounds where Pualie WON, let alone won definitively. |

The whole hair fiasco was absolutely ridiculous.
The only thing PM should be known for is taking a beating from Cotto and having his hair cut in between rounds of a boxing match. |

He's done like that burger I forgot to take off the grill the other day.... LOL, it's all good, I ain't mad atcha!!! And I had my share of hate for Hatton when it was deserved, back when he was flitting around from jr welter to welter, giving up belts, avoiding deserving contenders....that's what got me on the hatewagon in the first place (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I just thought he looked pretty good last time out, and the hate was for hate's sake. But I'm proud and happy to have been a part of the legendary HHW for so long, and my name will forever be etched onto the CEO's sig to commemorate that wonderful achievement!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And I KNOW you're joking about having a mellow period. That just didn't happen, did it? Black |

The HHW ended up being very successful and will never be forgotten......and I was very proud to have you alongside of me throughout The Cause....(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)
as far as my mello phase....it's really true...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ...you've missed it....it's lasted for like 5, 6 months...but now, at the peoples' request, I'm in a transition back to my mean old ways....I hope it's as much fun as it used to be....lol |
