- Undefeated welterweight champion Jarret "White Light" Sharp retained his title with a convincing 5th round knockout over former champion Brittney Skye. Sharp moves to 23-0.
- Soul "Erotic Thunder" Canton retained his version of the cruiserweight crown with a unanimous decision over Alexander Frenkel. Canton could face the other champion, Aaron Williams, next. - Reggie "The Kiss" Hope made light work of "Awesome" Awesome, knocking out his old rival in the 1st round. Veteran Reggie is now 54/23/2 with 50 wins coming by way of knock out. - Slax Mason Greer hopes to challenge for the vacant heavyweight title next weekend. |

QUOTE(ghost13 @ Jan 30 2009, 03:38 PM) 4 titles fights this weekend for my gym Shy Love takes on the Middleweight champion King Arthur Abraham. This might be Love's last chance to be champion. She's going to bring it Brittney Skye takes on the Welterweight champion Jarret "White Light" Sharp. Skye looks to become champion for the 5th time. Skye commented "somebody is going to get knocked the fuck out. And it ain't going to be me". Jesse Jane takes on the Super Bantamweight champion Shane Moses. The HOFer Jane who's been looking at retirement for awhile looks to become a 4 division champion Straweight champion Nautica Thorn defends her title against KROPOEK. Thorn will be making her 4th defense. KROPOEK can punch. But those 5 losses by knock out tell another story. My gym went 2-2 in this weekend title fights. Jane and Skye both lost there title fights. Both are considering retirement. Thorn made another successful defense. And Love shocked Abraham and became Middleweight champion |

Heavyweight champion Lanky "Maxy" Gawn has set a deadline of April 4th for TOS to sign to fight him otherwise Lanky will consider retirement.
He said, "I've had a long career, been one of the best fighters the game has ever seen. I'd like to bow out with a KO victory over TOS but if that's not to be I will have to seriously consider hanging them up. It's not about the money or the fame for me. I just think it would be an event the world would like to see." Rival heavyweight paper champion Darko Antonic is not in the mix however. Lanky said, "Nope, I'm not interested in him...who is he?" |
