QUOTE(JonnyBlaze @ Dec 12 2008, 10:03 PM) 230 is a lot better than I thought..I'm actually a lot more pumped for the fight now knowing this.. Yeah, not too bad. I am looking forward to see how he looks tomorrow. I really do not know what to expect, especially since I can not remember the last time I saw Oquendo fight. The worst part is I have my theater room being used tomorrow night by my in-laws for a movie and then a card party. So I am forced to watch it in my living room. And that goes for the Hopkins-Holt card too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cray.gif) |

Room is 21'x31' with three rows of seating with 106" screen and the set up is pretty nice. I built it back in 2004-2005. Too many details, I will figure out how to post pictures real soon and show you some pictures. |

230 is still way too heavy for James. He needs to get to 218.
Still, this will probably be a really boring fight with the loser claiming they were robbed, but the fans not really caring too much because of how boring the fight was. |

No. But I do have (2) DIY subwoofer boxes that measure about 4'x3'x2' that have each box has (2) 18" subs in them. Each box weighs about 300lbs!!! They are each powered by a behringer pro audio amp. My theater is not attached to my house, but the bass shakes my whole house when I am showing it off to people. My wife has yelled at me more than once for it being too loud. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I do not always listen to it at crazy levels. I never took any measurements, but the bass is ridiculous. Will post some pictures soon. |

Agreed that its still to heavy but its finally going the right way. haha Hopefully, he has learned something from the 2nd Peter fight where he couldn't do what he is used to doing in the ring because his weight wa too high and his balance was fucked. |

Would work out great with the wife factor since they only transfer energy directly into what they are attached to, so she wouldn't hear them even two feet away. Those boxes sound like beasts! |

Funny you mention the buttkickers, cause when I designed and built my room, I was going to pre-wire under my front row and two lifts for future possibility of using Buttkickers. For some reason I did not, I guess I had so many other things to do that I decided to just drop that idea. I pretty much built the whole room myself, I did get a little help here and there though. And no I never did demo them, I never experienced them, so I would not know what to expect. My one friend designed the boxes and I built them, I have some pictures of the build of the boxes too. I look forward to getting some pictures up to hear some impressions. |
