Cuevas could crack and had one helluva chin. Tito could crack but was sometimes shaky in taking a punch in the early rounds. I think Tito being the better boxer of the two plus having the height and reach, and straighter punching comes from behind to get it done.
think its a short but really fun war while it lasts. I think the 1st round is a bit slow, then in the 2nd Cuevas floors Trinidad and badly hurts him but Tito is able to recover and make it to the bell. In the 3rd it starts to turn and Tito's faster hands come into play. In the 4th I see Tito battering Pipino on the ropes before the ref steps in to save a bloodied Cuevas Trinidad KO 4 |
