> Abraham vs. Forrest this summer?, Neither could land a fight with Pavlik...maybe this could draw him in.

I personally think its a bad fight for Vernon. Hell the Martinez fight is a bad fight for Vernon. I'd much rather him lose his belt to Martinez than avoid him and give up the belt just to take on Abraham unless Abraham's title is on the line. If he wins people will say Vernon vacated the belt for bigger and better things, if he lose people will say he was scared of Martinez. Thats just my opinion.

I too thing this a bad fight for The Viper.

When I first had a good look at Abraham during his initial bout with Miranda I didn't think much of him (Miranda was robbed in that fight). However since then he's really developed into a mean machine. I'd say it would be a pick 'em against Pavlik and Vernon gets beaten badly if they tangle.

Abraham would probably stop Forrest, but maybe Vernon could make it intersting for a while with his skills in there?

I wasn't too impressed with Abraham early on in the Miranda rematch. None of those European tomato cans Abraham has made a career of feasting on bring to the table Vernon's skill set.

I smell an upset in the making....

this is a bad fight for vernon.. abraham will be too big for him i think.. vernon is a shell of what he used to be.. i still think to him losing to mora.. and i thought and i am sure most of you as well that he lost to a ike quartey that hadnt fought in years. vernon should stay at 154 and finish off his career but hey.. he's chasing money...

it just seems like mosely/margarito, pvlik/bhop all over again..with vernon being the old fighter at the end of his career, and abraham being the heavy favorite going in the fight. i don't know, it will be a cool fight to watch...but i think i speak for everyone when i say that pavlik/abraham is a much more preferred match..abraham/forrest; pavlik/mora in summer and then pavlik/abraham in december...as long as they both win, im guessing they will..but i really would not be suprised if vernon gets in that ass...

but then again it would be just as easy to picture abraham beat the shit out of son.

Too bad Forrest can't make 147 anymore. He could make a lot of noise there...

No Upset here... Just a lot of Pain. Vernon is tough and has heart so He may see the final bell But I expect Vernon to take a brutal beating.
