Looking forward to this fight. We get to see two guys who genuinely dont like each other go at it. Hughes is past his best, and i think serra only got lucky vs GSP the first time. So its not a competition at the highest level of the sport, but it does pit two classic styles of wrestler vs BJJ against each other.
I'm liking Serra in this. I would prefer hughes to shut that loud mouth cunt up, serra constantly talking shit about hughes, but i think has faded too much too beat serra |

I can see why people arent excited about this fight. I am actually more interested in evans vs machida, but didnt have time to post both threads coz i was late for work.
Sometimes two guys at the top of the division make for a dull fight, example being Silva's last fight. Sometimes its those guys several rungs down the ladder, and in this case on the way ou, that put on a war. I think this will probably be hughes last fight, definitely if he loses, and he was a dominanyt force in the UFC when he was prime. Serra hates Hughes guts, and has been talking so much shit prior to the fight being made... i hope hughes dumps him on his head. But hughes has faded bad, gettin dominated twice by GSP and then again by the pitbull (GSP vs Pitbull will be a classic fight IMO). I think Serra has better hands at this stage of Hughes career, and i think will catch him and knoc him out. He wont submit hughes. The genuine dislike between these two, they will be planning on not going to the cards |
